Prop. S, Repair and Revitalize Our Schools
Look for Prop. S on November 4th At The END of Your Ballot!

Proposition S is a $2.1 billion school bond that will make urgently needed repairs and renovations to our neighborhood schools. Most San Diego schools were built in the 50s or 60s and are more than 40 years old. Prop. S will repair leaky roofs, frayed electrical wiring, leaky pipes and plumbing. Prop. S will fix school bathrooms, dangerous heating and electrical systems, broken steps, and cracked sidewalks. Prop. S will replace deteriorating portable classrooms.

Our children deserve schools that are free from health and safety hazards. Prop. S will remove hazardous asbestos and mold, upgrade fire alarms and safety doors, fix unsafe school drop-off and pick-up zones, make schools disabled accessible and install security systems to protect our children.

Proposition S will bring more technology into every school and will revitalize classrooms for Career and Vocational programs to help our kids learn 21st Century job skills.

PROPOSITION S WILL NOT RAISE OUR TAXES. Prop. S will simply replace the Prop. MM bonds that were passed in 1998. As the MM bonds expire, new bonds will be issued to replace them and our taxes will NOT increase.
